IRC Recruitment held its annual conference in Madrid

13.11.2007: Priority on quality standards & regional cooperation, implementing rapid network growth and the Executive Board election, were the key points addressed at the annual conference in Madrid

IRC Recruitment, a leading global network of firms in executive search and recruitment services, held its 2007 annual meeting in Madrid. Last year’s meeting was in Shanghai. 

IRC Recruitment members approved the investment that has been made in the newly re-developed website and in the enhanced intranet, thus improving quality client service.

Continuing its growth, IRC Recruitment welcomed ten new member firms from the Americas, Europe and Asia to the network at the conference in Madrid.  In 2008, expansion will focus on Asia, Australia, EMEA and LATAM.

The General Meeting elected the Executive Board. Mr. Buzz Patterson (Donahue/Patterson Associates, USA), Mr. Jan Holmström (Search & Selection – S&S Consulting, Finland), Mr. Philippe Biebuyck (Carrée, Biebuyck & Partners, Belgium); and the President of IRC Recruitment, Mr. Mathias Friedrichs (Friedrichs & Partner, Germany) were re-elected. Mr. Ricardo Barckhahn (SKP Search Key People, Spain) who was newly elected to join the Board, says: “I am really pleased to collaborate with this Board, that is so focused and strategic, while eager to keep a positive and respectful culture among network members. IRC Recruitment has become a key player in global executive search.”
